For more than 17 years, Paul has been providing counseling and psychotherapy in the public mental health sector. Paul has a Master’s degree in Clinical Counselling (M.Div.) and is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Paul is also a professional member of The Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists (OACCPP).

Derek Johnson is a husband of 25 yrs, a father of 3 teenagers, 10yrs experience as a youth and family pastor, as well as a being registered psychotherapist with the Ontario College of Registered Psychotherapists with a Master of Science degree in Christian Counselling. Derek has 20+ years of direct contact work experience in mental health, community health care, residential group homes, church, and school settings.
Clients enjoy Derek’s humour and down-to-earth style. Derek is an experienced couple therapist who has been working with couples since 2000. He helps couples understand their problems, improve their communication, work as a team towards solutions and reconnect to the love that first brought them together. He has personally developed and created a communication and conflict resolution course called “FACE2FACE” that helps couples, families, teams, and corporations to better understand their and others' styles of relating and how best to resolve conflict rather than compromise.
Derek also helps individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. He offers a safe and non-judgmental space to work through the issues you're facing.
Marie L. Allen
Marie L. Allen has been active in the field of counseling for over 25 years. She has a private practice in St. Catharines and in Toronto. She is also very involved in Trauma Response Counselling with several organizations. Marie holds an undergraduate degree in Christian Education and Counselling from Tyndale University in Toronto, a master’s degree in Counselling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and a Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology from Greenwich University which was in Hilo, Hawaii. Marie has also taken many courses in Critical Incident Stress Management through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.
Marie is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and is a certified member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (formerly the Ontario Association of Consultants, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists), a presidential member of the American Association of Christian Counsellors and member of the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation
